Ink illustration of a leopard cat kitten.
Drawn using one of my own photographs as reference, I used mostly Sakura pigma micron marker pens and a brush pen for the darkest areas.
The leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is a species of small wild cat found in tropical forest and rainforest areas throughout many parts of Asia. They are similar in size to the domestic cat and have dark stripes running down the face and stripes from the eyes to the nose. They have yellow brown fur with dark brown rosettes and spots. They have round ears and, like many other wild cats, white spots on the back of the ears. The bengal cat is a hybrid created from the leopard cat and the domestic cat.
